Torthel McClodden commented on civility on HRT buses.
Ms. Gloria McRae, 714 Smith Street, HRT issue. Was assaulted on an HRT bus.
Pastor William J. Marshall commented about impending pawn shop.
Toni Redcross expressed opposition to the Pawn Shop coming in adjacent to their building.
Mr. Jason Samuels, Program Director, thanked NN for their contribution.
Marilyn Blackburn, thanked City Council for their contribution to the Foster Grandparenting Program.
Mr. George Keefe, thanked City of NN for their contribution to the Foster Grandparents Program.
Mr. Don Waters, new to the Foster Grandparents Program, Thanks for the financial assistance.
Mr. Lars Lassen challenged City Council to work together for the betterment of the City of Newport News.
Reverend Jim Rudisill advocated for the homeless. Fears ordinance will be used to harass the homeless.
Ms. Carol Morgan thanked City Council for their appropriation to the Foster Grandparents Program.
Mr. A. C. Pulliam, Jr. encouraged citizen advisory commission in the City.
Dr. Saundra Cherry expressed opposition to the proposed Pawn Shop at the corner of 31st and Jefferson.
Mr. Julian Scott advocated for a bus/bike route.
Mr. Adam Blowe asked that parks be cleaned up; repair the Downtown NN legacy.
