Mike Minarik, followed up on comments dealing with Contractual Svcs. Opposed to real estate tax rate increase of $0.12.
John Procyson, suggested reductions distributed to City Council for FY 2014 Operating Budget. Not necessarily permanent.
Antonio Thompson, asked for moment of silence for bombing victims in Boston, MA.
Jack Gergely, addressed FY 2014 CM Recommended Operating Budget.
Regina Shihigher, asked City Council to support Soundscapes.
Pixie Killebrew, 13, Hilton Terrace, commented on CM FY 2014 Recommended Operating Budget, particularly $0.12 real estate tax rate increase. Look again at the budget and start smaller. $0.12 is too high. Exorbitant.
Derry Heywood, 63 Lakeside Drive, expressed support for Soundscapes.

Addressed remarks made by Mr. Procyson and why some suggestion would not work. Addressed remarks made by Mr. Gergely. Rates are the same for all customers. Take ROI from Waterworks Fund to support City's General Fund. 2nd largest taxpayer. Addressed remarks made by Mrs. Killebrew. Recommending budget 2 years ago. How was surpluses used? To buy down debt or build up special reserve, which allows planning of future projects. Reported that WS was held, received direction from CC. Noteworthy - create Cultural Attractions Fund without $1. Thanked those who attended North District Town Hall Meeting.
