Z-2024-0001, CITY OF NEWPORT NEWS Requests a change of zoning from R8 High Density Multiple Family Dwelling to R5 Low Density Multiple Family Dwelling for a 2.08 acre area comprised of 23 parcels located at 1602, 1604, 1606, 1608, 1610, 1612, 1700, 1702, 1704, 1706, 1706b, 1708, 1710, 1800, 1802, and 1804 Ivy Avenue; 1603, 1605, 1607, 1611, 1615 and 1711 Madison Avenue; and 652 18th Street. The One, City One Future 2040 Comprehensive Plan recommends urban residential uses for the site.
