Mr. James Rudisill commented about dead homeless citizens. He expressed concern about having a process to claim/recognize the homeless and/or notifying their families. He advocated for a day center for the homeless.

Wished neighborhood, Cerese Gillis a Happy Birthday.

Congratulated Christine Mignogna for being selected as one of the honorees by the Inclusive Communities.
8. Scott
Apologized for cancellation of South District meeting to be held 2/10/2011. Educational Town Hall Meeting hosted by Barbara Ciara. Guests would include superintendents from NNPS and Hampton Public Schools, on Stat. from 10 - 12.
North District Town Hall Meeting on 2/28, at 7 pm. Brian Lewis from Engineering and Amanda wooten would be guests.
9. Vick
Apologized to the citizens of the Southeast District for the cancellation of the meeting with the Police Department. The meeting will be rescheduled. Announced an Education Town Hall Meeting on Saturday, February 26, 2011, 10 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., at the Downing Gross Cultural Arts Center, sponsored by the Hampton Roads Media Professionals, and hosted by Barbara Cierra of News Channel 13 and will include Newport News Superintendent Kilgore and the School Superintendent of the City of Hampton, along with Mr. Rasheed Wyatt of the NAACP.
