Juanita Matthews, Woodfin Rd. Addressed flooding from recent storms and rains. Asked for help. Wastewater had conducted a study prior. Raw sewage in her home has totally devastated her home.
Teresa Marshall, 823 16th St., NN, addressed issue to ban dog tethering.
Jenn Forbes, representing PETA, urged Council adopt an ordinance to ban continuous dog tethering. Hampton enacted ban on dog tethering.
Linda Seeley, urged Council to follow Hampton’s example and enact a ban on dog tethering.
Elizabeth Gee, 211 Abbott Lane, NN, urged City Council to ban dog tethering, following example of Hampton.
Misty Collins, 239 Locust Avenue, Hampton, commented in support of total dog tethering in Newport News.
